Returns Information / RA Numbers


Option #1 R/A # by Email

If you have a problem with a product, contact Leland Southwest Service Department by providing the necessary information in the form. Often, we can resolve a problem by email, saving you the time and effort of returning an item. Please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Name, company name, address, phone number, and email
  • Product name, Part number, and quantity
  • Purchase order and/or invoice number 
  • Detailed description of the problem
If we are unable to resolve the problem, our technical service representative will issue a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Ship the product with the original documentation supplied by Leland Southwest, within 10 days from the date the RA# is issued. If a product is not returned within the time limit, or is returned without an RA#, Leland Southwest can refuse to accept it for evaluation or credit.

 


Option #2 R/A by Phone
 

If you have a problem with a product, contact Leland Southwest Service Department. Often, we can resolve a problem over the phone, saving you the time and effort of returning an item. Please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Name, company name, address, and phone number
  • Product name, Part number, and quantity
  • Purchase order and/or invoice number 
  • Detailed description of the problem
If we are unable to resolve the problem, our technical service representative will issue a Return Authorization Number (RA#). Ship the product with the original documentation supplied by Leland Southwest, within 10 days from the date the RA# is issued. If a product is not returned within the time limit, or is returned without an RA#, Leland Southwest can refuse to accept it for evaluation or credit.

Problems with your order:
Call Customer Service if you have problems such as:
  • Youíve received the wrong part or quantity
  • The item you've received is broken or damaged
  • Items were omitted from the order
  • There are mistakes in billing or shipping
If you are returning a product because of an ordering error by the person placing the order, credit is issued less a 15% restocking fee. There is no fee if Leland Southwest was responsible for the error. An ordering error must be brought to our attention within ten (10) days after the product is shipped, and the product must be returned unused and in good condition. We cannot issue credit if the product cannot be returned to stock because it is used or damaged.

Product functioning problems:
Call Technical Service if you have problems such as:
  • You canít get a product to perform properly
  • A product has exhibited a short lifetime
  • Instructions for using a product are unclear

General Warranty Information
Leland Southwest warrants the products it manufactures, except those specifically exempted, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (30) days from the date of shipment. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.
During the warranty period Leland Southwest will, at its option, either repair or replace a defective product, or return to purchaser the price of the item. This limited warranty does not extend to any products that have been damaged as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, or service or modification by anyone.
Except as expressly set forth above, no other warranties are expressed or implied including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and Leland Southwest expressly disclaims all warranties not stated herein. In the event the product is not free from defect as warranted above, the purchaserís sole remedy shall be as provided above. Under no circumstances will Leland Southwest be liable to the purchaser or any user for any damages, including the incidental or consequential damages, expenses, lost profits, lost savings or other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product.
This warranty shall not be applicable to the extent that any provision of this warranty is prohibited by any federal, state, or municipal law that cannot be preempted.
